Position Overview
We are urgently recruiting a BC/BE Gastroenterology Physician to address the high demand for GI services within the hospital and the wider Amarillo community. The incoming physician will become part of a dynamic team, with immediate patient volume ensuring a busy practice from the start. This role is perfect for candidates trained and proficient in advanced GI procedures, including Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) and Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), as well as those seeking a more general GI practice.

Minimum Qualifications
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
Valid Texas medical license or eligibility for licensure
Proficiency in advanced GI procedures (EUS and ERCP) preferred but not required
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a hospital-based GI practice
Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Duties & Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive gastroenterology care to a diverse patient population
Perform a range of GI/Endoscopic procedures, including basic EGDs and colonoscopies
Participate in a shared call schedule to ensure continuous patient care
Contribute to the growth and development of our GI services
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for holistic patient care
