Company Information
Our client, a leading healthcare provider in the region, is expanding its services to meet the growing healthcare needs of the McAllen and Edinburg communities. With a commitment to high-quality patient care and the latest medical technologies, we are recruiting a Board Eligible/Board Certified Gastroenterologist to join our dynamic team. This position offers flexibility in employment with the aim of enhancing our comprehensive gastroenterology services.
Minimum Qualifications
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
Completed residency in Internal Medicine, followed by a fellowship in Gastroenterology
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology
Eligible for medical licensure in Texas
Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency in Spanish to better serve the local patient population
Strong clinical skills with a commitment to staying abreast of the latest advancements in gastroenterology
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build a robust referral network and maintain strong patient relationships
Motivated to contribute to the growth and development of our gastroenterology services
Duties & Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive gastroenterology care to the community, including diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care
Participate in shared call with other Gastroenterologists, ensuring comprehensive coverage
Engage in community outreach and education to promote gastrointestinal health and services
