Position Overview

The faculty member will be involved in delivering excellent patient care, teaching residents and medical students, and conducting high-quality research in the field of Cornea within the Department of Ophthalmology.

Minimum Qualifications

Board certified or board eligible in Ophthalmology
Fellowship-trained in Cornea
Eligible for licensure in the District of Columbia by the time of appointment

Preferred Qualifications

Demonstrated excellence in patient care
Strong commitment to teaching and mentorship
Proven track record of research and scholarship in Ophthalmology

Appointment rank (instructor/assistant/associate/full professor) will be determined based on the candidate's academic accomplishments and experience.

Duties & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional patient care in the field of Cornea
Teach and mentor residents and medical students
Engage in high-quality research and scholarly activities
Contribute to the department's growth and development in both clinical and academic areas
