Position Overview
Full-time inpatient work. Monday-Friday work schedule, no telepsych. The position involves daily rounding on patients, admission evaluations, treatment team leadership, discharge summaries, medication management, and participation in call rotation.

Minimum Qualifications
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry. Valid and active medical license in the state of North Carolina or eligibility to obtain. Strong clinical skills in psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and team members.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in adult psychiatry or child/adolescent psychiatry. Leadership experience in clinical settings. Strong interest in inpatient care.
Duties & Responsibilities
Conduct daily rounds on patients within the caseload. Perform admission evaluations. Lead treatment team meetings. Prepare discharge summaries. Manage medications effectively. Participate in the call rotation schedule.
